Welcome!

I (Allison) started A. Laney Florals in 2021 as a creative outlet to “escape” my full-time job that I was unhappy at. That fall, I spiraled down the rabbit hole of flower farming, and bought a ridiculous amount of seeds to grow in 2022. My husband, Nicholas, built me a small roadside stand to sell my homegrown flowers out of and business has taken off from there!

My passion for flowers didn’t just start in 2021, though. I was raised gardening with my family and was taught the importance of growing your own produce. I thought, if I can grown my own vegetables, I can surely grow my own flowers too!

My passion for flowers really blossomed when I was working for a neighboring county conservation department. Prairies were our main focus and flowers native to Iowa hold a very special place in my heart. My own wedding flowers were inspired by the Iowa Prairie.

I’m not just a one woman show though. My husband is my right-hand man, and my parents supply the land for me to grow the goods, help pull weeds, and offer a hand with odd jobs I need assistance with.

Roadside Stand

Stop by our roadside stand during the summer for fresh flowers and other farm goods!

Honor System Roadside Stand

For the past 2 summers, our roadside stand has been full of flowers every Sunday. This year, (2024) the stand will be open Saturday and Sunday, filled with flowers, vegetables, breads, jellys, and other seasonal goods.

This is a self-serve honor system farm stand.

We accept cash and Venmo payments.
